Convictions Mean Consequences.

Know Your Rights Before You Plead Guilty.

Minor Charges Can Still Have Long-Term Consequences

Even a misdemeanor conviction can have serious penalties in Florida. Possession of under 20 grams of marijuana is considered a first-degree misdemeanor and can result in up to a year in jail. About the same amount of cocaine can result in much harsher consequences. Being caught with less than 28 grams of cocaine is a third-degree felony. Anyone convicted of cocaine possession faces up to five years in prison, as well as fines. If caught with more than 28 grams of cocaine, an individual is automatically charged with drug trafficking, a first-degree felony.

At Quesada Law Firm, we know Florida law doles out harsh punishments for even a simple misdemeanor. A first-time drunk driving conviction can lead to jail time for Miami residents. As charges increase, so does your potential for serious jail time and fines. We believe that one mistake or wrongful charge does not need to follow you around forever.

Marco Quesada talks with you until he has a thorough understanding of all the issues involved in your case. Whether you are facing an allegation of credit card fraud or theft, we will work together to build the strongest defense against your charges.

Serious Charges Need A Serious Defender

You may wish to resolve your case out of court. With his over 20 years as a criminal defense lawyer, Marco knows many of the prosecutors and judges and has built relationships over time. Whenever he can, he will negotiate with prosecution to keep you out of the courtroom.

However, if a case requires a trial, we are prepared to argue for your interests in court. Quesada Law Firm has tried over 130 cases and won a majority of those cases. Marco can also try to negotiate a settlement on your behalf. If you are facing serious charges, you need a serious defender. Let our experienced attorney build a serious misdemeanor or felony defense.
